The January 18, 2024 deadline has passed for CEBA borrowers to have repaid — or applied for refinancing to repay — their CEBA loans and still qualify for partial federal forgiveness.
ACU will be completing all CEBA loan refinancing applications, and notify members of the results, by the March 28, 2024 refinance deadline.
The CEBA loans of members with unpaid outstanding balances, who had not applied for refinancing by the January 18, 2024 deadline, were converted (on January 19, 2024) to loans repayable at 5% interest per annum until paid in full by December 31, 2026.
