ACU held a virtual open house where all ACU members were encouraged to come learn and share feedback, ask questions and collaborate with us.

Assiniboine Credit Union announces that their Special Meeting of Members will be held on June 19, 2024. This meeting marks the conclusion of the voting period for members to review and vote on the special resolution to approve the amalgamation agreement between Assiniboine Credit Union, Caisse Financial Group, and Westoba Credit Union.

On June 19, 2024, Assiniboine Credit Union, along with Caisse Financial Group, and Westoba Credit Union, held their Special Meeting of Members, concluding the voting period on the special resolution for the amalgamation agreement. Member-owners of Assiniboine Credit Union, Caisse Financial Group, and Westoba Credit Union voted “Yes and Oui” in favor of a shared future. This positive decision marks a commitment to a future of new opportunities and strengthened member value across all three credit unions.

Assiniboine Credit Union/Caisse Assiniboine is pleased to announce the Board of Directors of the new organization has undertaken a process and appointed a Chair and in addition, the organization will have two Vice-Chairs to support and enhance leadership. Garnet McBurney will serve as Board Chair, while Jacqueline Keena and Darrel Nadeau were appointed a Vice Chairs effective January 1st, 2025.
