ACU’s digital banking gives you the flexibility to manage your accounts your way. Whether you’re organizing your dashboard, downloading documents or setting up your favourite transactions, ACU’s digital banking puts everyday account tools at your fingertips—so you can bank the way that works for you.

eStatements

View eStatement

Online banking

  1. Sign in to ACU’s online banking
  2. Select Accounts
  3. Select View eStatements
  4. Select the account and the eStatement you want to view

Mobile app

  1. Sign in to your ACU iOS or Android app
  2. Select Accounts from the bottom menu
  3. Select the three dots at the side of the account of the statement you want to view
  4. Select View eStatement
  5. Select the statement you want to view

Stop paper statements

Online banking

  1. Sign in to ACU’s online banking
  2. Select My ACU
  3. Under Settings, Select Statement preferences
  4. Toggle the button left to the "OFF" position beside the statement to stop receiving paper statements

Mobile app

  1. Sign in to your ACU iOS or Android app
  2. Select More
  3. Select General Setting
  4. Select Statement preferences
  5. Toggle the button left to the "OFF" position beside the statement to stop receiving paper statements

In each statement account section, you can expand the "Account details" label to see all the accounts that are combined with that statement.

 

Personalizations

Update personal information

To update your home address, phone number(s) and email address yourself, we need to have either your mobile phone number or your email address in our system.

  1. Sign in to your ACU iOS or Android app
  2. Select More from the bottom menu
  3. Select Profile
  4. Select Contact details
  5. Update your contact information
  6. Acknowledge the consent
  7. Select Continue
  8. Confirm details and select Continue
  9. Enter the One Time Passcode (OTP) you received to your email or text message and select Continue
  10. Select Done

Customize your accounts

Online banking

  1. Sign in to ACU’s online banking
  2. Select Accounts
  3. Under Accounts, Select Customize accounts

Mobile app

  1. Sign in to your ACU iOS or Android app
  2. Select More from the bottom menu
  3. Select General Setting
  4. Select Customize Accounts
  • You can set your default account by selecting the star icon beside the account you want as your default account
  • You can rename your account by selecting the pencil icon beside the account you want to rename
  • You can change the order your counts are displayed by selecting the icon under the order column and dragging the accounts to the order you want (only available through online banking)

Other

Download a void cheque

 Online banking

  1. Sign in to online banking
  2. Select Accounts
  3. Under Cheques, select Download void cheque
  4. Select the account you want the void cheque for
  5. Press Export at the bottom of the page to download the PDF

Mobile app

  1. Sign in to your ACU iOS or Android app
  2. Select Activity from the bottom menu 
  3. Select Download void cheque
  4. Select the account and address you want to display on the void cheque
  5. Select Export

You can then:

  • Share the void cheque through email or text
  • Save the void cheque to your files
  • Print the void cheque

Stop a cheque

  1. Sign in to ACU’s online banking
  2. Select Accounts
  3. Under Cheques select Stop cheques
  4. Select Request a stop cheque
  5. Select the account the cheque is drawn on
  6. Select a reason for the stop cheque request
  7. Enter the cheque date, the name of the payee, cheque number and cheque amount
  8. Select Continue and confirm cheque stop details

A service fee will be applied if the debit is returned as Stop. See our service fees for more information.

Note: Consolidated profile view is only available in online banking.

 

Stop payment on pre-authorized payment

  1. Review your account activity to make sure that the pre-authorized payment hasn't already been processed. 
  2. Contact us to stop a pre-authorized payment.

Secure messaging

Our secure messaging service allows you to communicate with us from within the online banking system and is only available after you have signed in. You may include account numbers and any other information that may help us better assist you with your questions. Please use the secure message feature within online banking instead of sending personal information through unsecure email channels.

The secure message feature can be accessed by selecting the Envelope at the top right corner of your ACU iOS or Android app or in online banking select My ACU and then select Messages.

Forgot your password?

No problem. You can reset your password by clicking on the ‘Forgotten Password?’ link on the login page. You will be required to enter your username and the email or cell phone number we have on file.

Additionally, if you have been locked out of Online Banking due to 5 incorrect password attempts, you can reset your password using the same ‘Forgotten Password?’ link on the login page.

Want to change your password: Once you are logged in to Online Banking, you can change your password by navigating to ‘Settings’ and selecting ‘Password.’
